This dress is made from a beautiful silk kimono with a lovely floral pattern. The background colour is aqua turquoise which is so eye-catching. The fabric is dreamingly soft mid weight silk and it drapes beautifully.

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are imported from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from the 1980s and prior. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes, colour fade and slight mustiness etc. but they have an incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have.
