Maree Churchill - Felted Soap

Felted Shea Butter soap, which has been beautifully scented for use in your shower to lather up a delightful rich foam. The felt helps prolong the life of the handmade soap, also giving a nice light exfoliation experience. Perfect for gifts as well.

About the Artist: Crafted by Hand, Made by Nature. Suri Alpaca Breeder & Fibre Artist, Maree, uses the fleeces from her alpaca herd and flock of fine merino sheep, in her handcrafted work, showcasing and promoting Natural Fibres, under the name of The Alpaca Attic Studio, which is based at Suri Fino Alpaca Stud, North Canterbury, NZ.

Artistic Process: Using a selection of bright colourful NZ Merino, this is hand-felted directly onto the pre handmade shea butter soap, giving a tight covering, which is slowly naturally dried to produce a finished felted soap. The soap is scented with a selection of perfume oils.

Please note these soaps are individually handmade, so you will receive colours selected at random.  If you would like a specific colour(s), please let us know. Although selected colours can't be guaranteed, if you provide enough notice, the artist may be able to make them for you (please allow 2-3 weeks for made to order colours).
