For every day of October 2024 Lara drew a different type of fungi, resulting in this eclectic collection of mixed media drawings. This poster features 31 weird and wonderful types of native or endemic fungi found throughout New Zealand.

About the Artist: Lara, the multidisciplinary artist behind Trouble & Strife, creates detailed artworks inspired by the natural world from her garden studio in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Process:Lara uses a variety of materials to make her mixed media drawings, including watercolour, ink, gouache, acrylic pens, coloured pencil and alcohol inks.
