About the Artist: Kathleen Richens is a watercolour illustrator from North Canterbury, New Zealand . She draws and paints traditionally by hand from her rural home.

Artist process: Kathleen draws with pencil on paper before redrawing onto watercolour paper with a light box then lovingly paints with watercolours by hand.
