About the Artist Eiko of Studio A & Co. is a lampworker and crafts iewellery and blown vessels from borosilicate glass, using the flame of a torch to shape vibrant, functional works inspired by everyday life.
Artist process: These wall vases are handcrafted using the traditional lampworking technique, where molten glass is shaped in a hot flame. On a glass tube, patterns are drawn with a pencil-thin rod of coloured glass, fused and blown.
